It’s no secret that fall is my favorite season! The falling leaves, those chilly mornings, and nature’s brown color palette are my favorites. Fall arrives a bit later here than in Europe or the US, and I cannot wait to start wearing my blazers and knits and get into a cozy and chic mood.
I thought this was a perfect time to share my recommendations for six fall wardrobe pieces, which are true classics for me. I wear them season after season and always enjoy mixing them to create casual outfits with a touch of elegance.
1- Brown Blazer
A brown blazer is such a timeless, versatile item in my wardrobe. You can wear it with a t-shirt, a knit, or even a sweatshirt, and it will always elevate your look and add sophistication.
2- Striped Top
Stripes are a perfect choice if you want to add prints to your wardrobe but prefer a classic pattern that you can easily mix with other items. A striped top adds a Parisian chic to your outfit and can be layered with a leather biker jacket, a blazer, or a cardigan.
3- Cardigan
I love a buttoned-up wool cardigan because I can create with it versatile layered looks. You can wear it open over a t-shirt or a tank top or buttoned over a denim blouse or a turtleneck when the weather is getting colder. Add a wool coat or a blazer on top of it, and you’ve got a chic layered look for the cold season.
4- Chelsea Boots
Chelsea boots are the kind of boots I enjoy wearing the most during the fall/winter season. I have a pair of brown croc mock Chelsea boots I bought a few years ago, and I still wear them year after year when fall arrives. They are very comfortable and add elegance to an everyday casual look.
5- Straight Leg Denim
Straight-leg denim is an all-year staple for me, but I especially enjoy wearing them in the fall. I recommend having at least one pair of straight-leg blue wash denim that you can style with a knit or a blazer for a classic fall look.
6- Brown Tote Bag
Finally, I’m a big fan of bags with big compartments to store my everyday essentials. Like the Chelsea boots, I love the mock croc texture, which adds elegance to a fall outfit. I have a similar bag in black, which I use all the time, and I want to add a brown one to my collection.
